La ligne de la Côte Orientale

Eastern Coast line.

Cette ligne quittait l'axe Bastia - Ajaccio à Casamozza.
Elle a été ouverte jusqu'à Ghisonaccia en 1888, prolongée jusqu'à Solenzara en 1930, puis Porto Vecchio en 1935. Le tracé jusque Bonifacio fut ébauché, mais jamais terminé.

La ligne a cessé de fonctionner en 1943, détruite par l'armée allemande qui remontait de Sardaigne, poursuivie par les Américains. Elle n'a jamais été reconstruite.
Le court tronçon Casamozza - Folleli a été utilisé jusqu'en 1953.

This line was leaving the main line Bastia - Ajaccio at Casamozza station.
 It was opened to Ghisonaccia in 1888, then continued to Solenzara in 1930, and Porto Vecchio in 1935. Roughed out to Bonifacio, but never finished.

The line stopped working in 1943, destroyed by German army coming from Sardinia, pursued by Americans. It was never rebuilt.
The short section Casamozza - Folleli was closed in 1953.
